The Barbados Football Association (BFA) was founded in 1910
and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2010.
The BFA, in collaboration with the Government of Barbados, is continuing to assist to roll out the National Peace Program (NPP), with a focus on using sport (football) as a tool for social change.
The BFA is contributing to this multifaceted outreach program by conducting various on-field and off-field sessions in community ‘hubs’ that are designed to empower our nation’s young people.
Last week, BFA Special Projects Coordinator Amanda James visited the Pinelands to facilitate a workshop in conflict resolution, and even welcomed a surprise guest, the Hon. Corey Lane M.P.
